Foundational Launch
AEK was founded in the San Fernando Valley by aerospace engineer Ken Hotz, who believed distributors should serve customers better. We still hold to those ideals of customer service and technical heritage today.
Second generation transition
Ken sold the business to his son and stayed involved part-time.
World Class Partnerships
Became an authorized distributor for Hutchinson Aerospace, Hutchinson Industrial & Defense, and Vlier.
Expanding the Inventory
We moved to a larger facility in Sylmar, CA to expand our warehouse capabilities.
New ownership
The Hotz family exited the business following its sale.
