Low Profile Mounts are named to describe the
relative low installation profile potential of the mount.
Low profile mounts are typically used for vibration isolation applications.
Although some will provide limited shock protection, the low deflection
capability of these mounts makes them inefficient for most high degree
of shock attenuation applications. A number of these mounts are integrally
fail-safe while some require a Barry Controls snubbing or back-up washer
to ensure positive capture of the payload in the unlikely
event of failure of the resilient element. Although most of these
mounts are all attitude, Barry Controls Low Profile
Mounts perform best when supporting the primary static load axially through
the mount. Select from one of
the Low Profile Mount Types below for more specific information. |
